Kerala-born Anand George has worked at some of the most prestigious five star restaurants in Mumbai and London and was awarded the Tiffin Cup for the UKs Best Indian Restaurant in his previous role as founder of Cardiff’s Mint & Mustard. Anand was also a huge hit at last year’s Chefs’ Night Out auction, resulting in an incredible winning bid of £15,000.
Anand is currently running his new venture Poppupadom in partnership with Spiros Fine Dining Caterers, and recently staged Wales’ first pop-up restaurant at The GlassHouse in Cardiff Bay. Anand will also be bringing Poppupadom to the Abergavenny Food Festival.
