David Kelman is the Executive Head Chef at Ellenborough Park, the beautiful country retreat just outside Cheltenham, which was awarded England’s Leading Country House Hotel and England’s Leading Spa Hotel at the 2012 World Travel Awards.
David, a proud Welshman, has represented his country in many international culinary competitions and has also been privileged to cook for HRH the Prince of Wales and Her Majesty the Queen. After training as a chef in Wales, David made the move to the Cotswolds. He has worked in some of the finest restaurants in Gloucestershire, including Wyck Hill House and Lower Slaughter Manor, gaining 3 AA rosettes and contributing to the hotel’s accolade of becoming a Relais & Chateau member. David has continued his success at Ellenborough Park, with the restaurant having been awarded the coveted three AA rosettes in the 2013 AA Restaurant Guide.
