The man at the helm of The Grove’s kitchen is Head Chef Duncan Barham, whose passion and excitement for excellent food inspires and motivates all around him. Duncan’s style is a mix of modern British influenced by classical French techniques. He has fully embraced the ethos of eatin locally helping develop The Grove’s kitchen garden and exploring the numerous foraging opportunities in and around the 26 acres. The Grove has earnt further recognition being voted one of The 50 Best British Hotels by The Independent, whilst Fiona Duncan at the Telegraph said of her dining experience, “ there’s something special and memorable about local Welsh produce in the hands of a good chef.”
