The Harrow at Little Bedwyn
Roger Jones spent his early career working for the British Governement and Royal Family and was the youngest Chef to run State Banquets at the age of 21. Roger gained his first Michelin Star in 2006, an award he has successfully retained for seven consecutive years. The Harrow at Little Bedwyn has also held 3 AA rosettes for nine years, and was voted on of Britain’s Top 100 restaurants in 2012 by the Sunday Times where it was labelled a “gastronomic gem”.
Roger and his wife Sue have transformed the restaurant from a village inn to a full blown country restaurant, with a passion for free-range ingredients from British producers. It is believed that Roger is this country’s first commercial truffle-hunter since the 1920’s His passion for food is matched by his on-going love affair with wine. Roger sits on the Decanter World Wine Awards representing Australia and was recently elected as Vice Chairman of The Master Chefs of Great Britain for 2013.
Roger has recently been appointed as consultant chef at The Park House in Cardiff.
